:bulletwhite: 30 pts: Creativity. Is it unique and appealing? Is it eye-catching? Do things fit well together? Does the picture show some kind of emotion?

:bulletwhite: 20 pts: My brother's opinion. I get him to critique every one of my pictures before I post them. He has a good eye for creativity and effort.
:bulletwhite: 10 pts: Music (where music is required). How well does the music fit with your image? Does it contribute to the emotion of the story/picture? Does it fit with the winter theme?
:bulletwhite: 5 pts: Random. Chosen with randomnumber.org

:bulletblue: Bonuses
+0-10 for a winter/holiday feel, maybe a bit of holly, Christmas lights hung around the arena, etc.
+5 for every training image made specifically for this event (max 3)
+5 for every previous show image (max 2)
+5 for a long detailed story over 1 paragraph
+3 for each picture of your horse or rider around Fox Run (ie, talking to staff, arrival, tacking up, lunch, etc.)
+5 for a vetcheck image
-5 for every rule not followed

:bulletblue: Schedule and Details

:bulletwhite:Note: A lunch break takes place every day at 12:00 PM. Food will be available inside the guest house.
:bulletwhite:Note: By the time the show takes place, Fox Run is almost completely covered with snow. Draw your pictures accordingly!

:bulletblue:Day 1

:bulletwhite: Arrival
- Horses and riders begin arriving after lunch to get settled at Fox Run.
:bulletwhite: Vet Inspections - Will take place in one of the small indoor rings. A picture is not mandatory, but will earn you extra points.
:bulletwhite: Dinner - Will take place in the guest house ball room, after which is an informal party and meet-and-greet for the riders.

:bulletblue: Day 2

:bulletwhite: Showjumping 8:00AM Start
Location: K2, the showjumping ring. Brown fence, stands along one side.
Weather: It's a bit windy, with a few lazy flakes falling in the morning. The sun starts coming up around 7:00AM, so riders will get a nice sunrise for their warmup!
Course: You may make up your own jumps, but jumps should be decidedly winter-themed.
Attire: helmet, jacket (navy blue, black, grey, hunter green or red), khaki or white pants, black riding boots, black gloves. Long hair should be tied back neatly. Jumping saddle, leather bridle, no extremely harsh bits. Leg protection is mandatory. Manes should be braided. Number is to be shown on rider's back, bridle or saddlepad.

:bulletwhite: 3-Day Eventing Stage 1: Dressage 1:00PM Start
Dressage entry must be close-cropped. That means, focus on one part of the horse and rider, like the head, legs, etc. But, I still want to see a good piece of the horse (don't just show a nostril or something XD) Examples: marievarp.deviantart.com/art/W… caahphotos.deviantart.com/art/… fireandrain97.deviantart.com/a… avrilw.deviantart.com/art/Goin… fav.me/d3ho9w0 fav.me/d3ggpdq fav.me/d3ggphs fav.me/d2tuun0 fav.me/d1ovhue fav.me/d4e1vph
All three of your 3DE pictures must uploaded separately and linked, as well as uploaded as one picture and linked.
Location: K3, the dressage ring. White dressage fence, stands on one side.
Weather: The wind has died down slightly, and snow is still falling occasionally. The sun goes down at 5:00PM, so if the class gets a lot of entries, some riders will be riding into the sunset.
Course: You may choose any moves you like. Movement must be specified in entry information.
Attire: helmet or tophat, back jacket, khaki or white pants, black riding boots, white gloves. Long hair should be tied back neatly. English saddle, white saddlepad, leather bridle. Manes should be braided. Number must be visible on rider's back, bridle or saddlepad.

:bulletblue:Day 3

:bulletwhite:3-Day Eventing Stage 2: Cross-country 8:00AM Start
In this stage, I'm looking for some interesting composition. Basically, put the horse and rider off center, as opposed to having the picture close-cropped square around the horse. This is the stage to show me your background skills! ;D  Examples: fav.me/d4y54rh fav.me/d4lc6ly fav.me/d55v0se fav.me/dxbxm4 fav.me/d55qn6d fav.me/d4nxwvh fav.me/d4yq62z fav.me/d28wvts
All three of your 3DE pictures must uploaded separately and linked, as well as uploaded as one picture and linked.
Location: Q and R, the field and forest.
Weather: Its very clear and still, with no snow falling at all. The sun starts coming up around 7:00AM, so riders will get a nice sunrise for their warmup!
Course: You may make up your own jumps, but jumps should be decidedly winter-themed.
Attire: helmet, chest protector, khaki or white pants, riding boots, gloves. English saddle, leather bridle, no extremely harsh bits. Leg protection is mandatory. Number must be visible on rider's vest, arm, bridle or saddlepad.

:bulletwhite: Dressage 1:00PM Start

:bulletblue:Day 4

:bulletwhite: 3-Day Eventing Stage 3: Showjumping 8:00AM Start
For this part of the 3DE I want to see some weird angles! That means, show the horse in a position or angle that a regular photo (ie a stock photo) wouldn't show. More creativity gets you more points!

Location: Q and R, the field and forest.
Weather: Thick, hard snow is falling fast. Visibility is poor. No pretty sunset tonight, but it will begin getting darker as the class goes on.

:bulletblue:Day 5

:bulletwhite: Driving 8:00AM Start
Any number of horses are accepted.
Location: Q and R, the field and forest.
Weather: Blizzard from last night dies out slowly, leaving clear skies. The sun starts coming up around 7:00AM, so riders will get a nice sunrise for their warmup!
Course: You will be maneuvering around a course through the field and forest. Be careful not to drive onto the pond, its icy and could break!
Attire: helmets, chest protectors, gloves. Appropriate driving tack for horses is required. Manes should be braided. Number must be visible on person(s)' back, arm, horse's bridle, or carriage.

:bulletwhite: Endurance 1:00PM Start
You will be riding a set course from Fox Run, northwest to Lake Huron, around Grand Bend area. Part of the race takes place on the beach, then you will be camping on the beach overnight. First day is about 43 km (27 miles). The second day you will be making your way back to Fox Run on another route, about 60 km (37 miles). You may have more than one image.
Weather: A light snow is falling the first day and overnight. The second day there will be pockets of moderate snowfall.
Course: spotz-stock.deviantart.com/art…
Attire: helmet, warm clothes, protective vest, gloves. Water and food are a good bring. English saddle, leg protection is suggested. Warm blankets for horses are needed, if you don't bring enough of your own, Fox Run will provide you some of ours. Number must be visible somewhere on the horse and rider.

:bulletwhite: Pair Showjumping 2:00PM Start
A pair of riders will jump the course beside each other. Bonuses for riders holding hands!
Location: K2, the showjumping ring. Brown fence, stands along one side.
Weather: It is sunny and still, with light snow falling occasionally. The sun goes down at 5:00PM, so if the class gets a lot of entries, some riders will be riding into the sunset.
Course: You may make up your own jumps, but jumps should be decidedly winter-themed.
Attire: You may be wearing showjumping attire (see individual showjumping information) or your own funky costume. Saddles and leg protection are mandatory. Number must be visible somewhere on horse and rider.
